Pentland Alliance ^{Investing energy in the future of Dounrey}

Pentland Alliance is a joint venture which has been set up by UKAEA, AMEC and CH2M Hill to bid for the contract to run the Dounreay site when it is competed by the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.

The Alliance, which has been operating as a part of the UKAEA management team at the site for over two years, is deeply committed to both the safe and responsible decommissioning of the Dounreay Site, and, by utilising the team’s skills and local resources, Pentland Alliance will help to safeguard the long-term socio-economic future of Caithness and North Sutherland.

Once the competitive process begins, you will see an increasing reference made to the Pentland Alliance, which will be working hard to ensure that it delivers on its commitments to the employees of Dounreay site, to the Caithness and North Sutherland people, to its suppliers and business partners, as well as to the Government and the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
